Glad Oven Bags are ideal for roasts, easy to use, no mess cooking, easy key-lock tie and retains flavours and juices.

GLAD® Oven Bags make roasting faster, easier and cleaner! Made from heat resistant material, GLAD Oven Bags can be used in both fan forced and conventional ovens* . With GLAD Oven Bags, roasts will cook more quickly than conventional methods and ensure meat, poultry, fish and vegetables remain moist and flavoursome. GLAD Oven Bags also save on kitchen clean-up, because all of the cooking juices are enclosed in the bag to keep oven trays and walls clean. GLAD Oven Bags are also perfect for marinating meat, seafood or poultry and can be used to cook casseroles and rice dishes such as risottos.

Directions

Instructions for use.
1. Preheat oven to recommended temperature. (Never exceed 200°C)
2. Lightly oil and season food as required. Add 1 tablespoon of plain flour to bag and shake to distribute evenly. This reduces liquid splattering during cooking.
3. Place food evenly in bag and close end with a single key-lock tie. To secure tie, thread one end sideways through the opposite hole until at desired tightness, then turn to lock.
4. Pierce top of bag 4-6 times to vent and prevent the possibility if the bag bursting. Place in a deep baking dish, ensuring bag does not hang over sides.
5. Place in the centre of a preheated oven. Allow enough room for bag to expand during cooking without touching heating elements, walls or racks. Do not exceed recommended temperature.
6. Use the chart shown as a guide for cooking times. When cooking is complete, remove dish from even and rest for 10 minutes, then carefully cut open top of bag. Beware to avoid escaping steam. Lift food out from bag to serve. Drain juices and use to make gravy if desired.

Product Warnings

1. Never exceed 200°C.
2. Ensure oven grill function is turned off.
3. Failure to pierce the bag 4-6 times and add flour may result in bag bursting.
4. Allow enough room for bag to expand during cooking without touching heating elements, walls or racks.
5. Ensure the oven is preheated.
6. Do not use in fry pans or bench top grill ovens.
